Ministries of Healing
“What does love look like? It has the hands to help others. It has the feet to hasten to the poor and needy. It has the eyes to see misery and want. It has the ears to hear the sighs and sorrows of men. That is what love looks like.” – St. Augustine
When Christ died, the apostles felt exactly as we feel. But the risen Christ joined them, opened their eyes and turned their sorrow into joy. Volunteers of the ministries of healing become signs of the love God has for His people and a sign of His presence with them. Please contact us if you feel called to participate in one of these special ministries.
The Bereavement Ministry provides emotional and spiritual support to those who have lost loved ones. This includes assistance at the time of death, presence at the funeral liturgy and periodic meetings to listen and offer support to anyone who may be in need. Contact Marie Elliott at email@example.com for more information.
Our Parish Cemetery Committee meets regularly to review the procedures and policies regarding our cemetery. It is their task to make recommendations, to advise the pastor about the future needs/development of the cemetery, and to insure the best practices in the stewardship and care of our parish cemetery. Contact the Parish Office at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
