Catholic Youth Organization (CYO)

Our newly formed Regional CYO program between St. Patrick Church, Assumption BVM and Sacred Heart, seeks to enrich the lives of its participants by providing athletic development and competition in a safe, sportsmanlike and Christian setting. By insuring a positive, instructional and competitively appropriate environment, we give all eligible parish youth an opportunity to enjoy sports, to increase their self-confidence and physical conditioning, and to grow athletically, socially and spiritually.

CYO sports program  enables the partnership of parents, coaches, priests, religious, teachers, and adult leaders to manage and support a sports program that allows youth to grow in their relationship with God and come to better understand themselves and the Catholic faith. Sports related activities to include Cross Country, Volleyball, Basketball, Track and Cheerleading are held in the Fall and Spring. It is open to boys and girls grades 5 through 8. Other sports (baseball, field hockey, soccer, softball, and football) are available to be organized by the Parish if there is enough interest.
